Rates and discounts
DISCOUNTS ARE NOT CUMULATIVE

Group: discount of 10% (more than 3 from same group): contact us for special code. When reaching out to us, please specify the name of those who are in the group; and from which group. A group may not be a whole institution! (e.g. "all authors from Université Laval") . You MUST get the discount code BEFORE you register your group (i.e. one cannot a posteriori add people to form a group).
Emerging countries: discount of 10% for Medium and Low countries on the UN human development index. When reaching out to us, please specify from which country and institution you are from.
First authors (main conference - NOT workshops): discount of 5%. You will be issued a special code via the Program Chairs. This is for the first author, who should be the presenting author. There can only be ONE rebate code per paper.
Students (Bachelor; Masters; Doctoral; Post-doctoral levels) must provide a letter or proof of registration on the registration site in order to be eligible for student prices. See example here.

Reimbursement policy

  • 90% up to three months before the event

  • 50% up to one month before the event

  • 0% within one month before the event

Reimbursement policy for citizens of countries affected by the United States government's travel ban

This evolving policy does not affect Canada, but could jeopardize re-entry in the United States upon returning from MICCAI 2017. For those individuals from the six countries affected by the ban, reimbursement will be done up to 90% of costs, up to 10 days before the event; after which point there will not be a reimbursement. Proof of student visa in the United States, as well as citizenship, will be required to process the reimbursement. This policy will be adjusted as the travel ban fluctuates.

Early bird rate
Early bird rate was in effect until 15 May 2017

Note that the point of the 15% Early bird rebate - emphasis on *rebate*! - was to provide an economic incentive for people who register early, i.e. to thank them for taking the decision to come no matter what the outcome of the review process(es). Many people attend MICCAI and are not authors and fall in this category. As for authors, when submitting to MICCAI, they committed to coming, since acceptance means defending your work on site. Attendees should also note that the current registration rates for MICCAI 2017, even at full price, are well below those of the last five years of MICCAI; and to these low prices must be added the various other rebates shown below for presenting authors (5%), groups (10%), and Medium and Low developed (10%) countries. Early bird rate is now closed.
